English cricketers Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball & Liam Plunkett have been warning letter & fine for misconduct by England & Wales Cricket Board. According to reports, the trio was also out partying with Ben Stokes & Alex Hales, both being suspended by ECB, on 25th September when the altercation occurred. Since none of the three were actively present in that scene, ECB has decided to issue a warning letter to them & hand all three of fines which will go equally to the PCA Benevolent Fund & the Hornsby Professional Cricketers’ Fund.
A statement from ECB read, “Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball and Liam Plunkett have accepted a formal warning and fine for misconduct- which are unrelated to the investigations of Ben Stokes and Alex Hales- with undisclosed sums paid equally to the PCA Benevolent Fund and the Hornsby Professional Cricketers’ fund. The internal investigation and process for this matter has now concluded and no further comment will be made.”
