Things started to go wrong for Bangladesh when their ever dependable skipper Mushfiqur Rahim surprisingly elected to bowl despite winning the toss on a flat surface. The South Africans weren’t complaining tho as they conjured up a gigantic total of 496 for the loss of just 3 wickets before declaring. In reply, Bangladesh had a disastrous start, losing both Tamim Iqbal & Mominul in the very first over with Morne Morkel in his absolute best. Bad light stopped 4th day’s play with Bangladesh reeling at 49 for 3. Next morning, their resistance only lasted 83 minutes as Rabada & Maharaj tore apart the Bangladeshi batsmen’s defense, with the young player bagging three while Maharaj picked up 4 for just 25.
